ITC Level 3 Award in First Aid for Schools and Colleges (FASch)

Key objectives:

• Satisfies a schools legal requirement for workplace first aiders

• Suitable substitute for the three day First Aid at Work qualification 

Key information

• Combines practical and theoretical classroom work.
• Practical assessment of CPR and first aid.
• The FASch course requires twelve hours of teaching and can be delivered over two days.
• The award is valid for three years from the date of assessment.
• The qualification is Ofqual accredited and meets HSE requirements.

Course requirements

• Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years of age at the time of taking the assessment.
• No prior first aid knowledge if required.
