Home Education - Residential - Pod Deposit

Camping Pod residential, exclusively for Home Educated Families.

This is to secure your family camping Pod only. You will receive a second link after booking your Pod to book your number of places per Pod and complete the registration form - the maximum number of people who can sleep in the Pods is 5. Please note the person booking the Pod must be over the age of 18 years old and in attendance throughout the whole residential. This £50 will be refunded after your visit assuming there are no breakages, etc. Please note, you will only receive the £50 after you have attended. There will be no refunds for non attendance or cancellations and Pods are non transferable.

Further information about our residential is below :

Give your child the opportunity of a residential experience here at The Mill Adventure Base. You will be assigned an exclusive camping pod for your family of up to 5 people, and will share our pod area and facilities with other home educated families, with a maximum of 7 families at one time. This is not suitable for children under 7 years of age. This 2 day residential will start with arrival and settling in at 10am, followed by a day of exciting activities. Meals & drinks will now be on a self catering basis, please bring enough food for 2 lunches, one breakfast and pizza on the first evening which we will cook in our pizza ovens. Unfortunately we do not have the capacity for families to cook meals as we only have one oven/hob and 1 microwave. There will be a fridge, and a freezer available for everyone to share and labels for you to store food in our Base Room/Kitchen.

There will be an optional evening activity, followed by a good night sleep in our lovely camping pods. We provide comfy mattresses inside the pods, and will ask you to bring bedding/sleeping bags and pillows.

The second day will be a full day of activities, finishing at 2:30pm.

Pricing:

Hire of 1 x Family POD / refundable £50 deposit which will be kept in the event of any unreasonable damage, breakages or loss caused during your stay. Deposit will be returned soon after your visit.

We will send you another link after your booking of your Pod to pay for your number of participants - you can book up to 5 places - the prices are as follows :

£135 per child aged 7+

£135 per adult participating in activities

£30 per adult non participating

This residential is NOT suitable for children under the age of 7 years.

10am Arrive at The Mill Adventure Base and settle in and introduce the programme

11am Ice breakers - Team Building and Low Ropes

12noon Lunch - self catered

2.30pm Gladiator & Mini Zip

5pm Evening Meal - please bring your own pizza(s) for us to cook in our pizza ovens

6pm Evening Activities or chill-out time. Nightline (blindfolded obstacle course, Tomahawk throwing, camp fire/fire lighting/marshmellows

8am Breakfast - Self catered

10am Climbing

12noon Lunch - Self catered
