Come along to Perlethorpe Environmental Education Centre on the tranquil Thoresby Estate to have a go at the traditional craft of Spoon Carving. Learn how to use woodworking tools to make your own unique spoon.
Over the two days you will spend time learning how to use basic tools, such as knives, axe and saw to create your very own spoon.
Led by Graeme Turner of GrizzleyPaw Design. He will take you through the process of turning timber to treen.

Day 1 - will cover the use of a knife, axe and saw to create a spatula.
Day 2 - you will progress from the skills learnt on day 1 to include the crook knife and create your spoon
