Our exciting secrets of Sherwood  family experience is a guided tour with Robin Hood and Marian set in the heart of Sherwood Forest. Adventure through the Forest where you will learn all about life as an Outlaw, explore historical links to the legend and uncover some of the secrets about the ancient oaks who still grow in the forest today. The tour also includes a visit the Major Oak, a chance to handle medieval artefacts and a story or two from the days of old. A truly memorable way to visit Sherwood Forest this summer.

£10 per adult
£5 per child

Children under 6 are free, but please email the team prior to the day to inform us if you require under 6 spaces.

Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Suitable for families.

Routes through the forest are on main pathways but please contact us if you have any queries on suitability for wheelchair users or pushchairs.

Walk A -Arrival time 10.00am -12pm

Walk B- Arrival time 1pm- 3pm

*Car parking is available in the RSPB car park at an additional cost.

*Please meet at the Robin Hood statue at the entrance to the Shop at the Visitors centre where you will be greeted by one of our team.

*Although we love our canine friends, we kindly ask that dogs are not brought on the guided tour.   

 All tickets are non-refundable. However, if adverse weather is forecast, this day may be cancelled at short notice. In the event of Notts Outdoors cancelling the event, a full refund will be given.

 10% from each ticket sold will be donated to the RSPB, a registered charity in England and Wales, number 207076, and in Scotland, number SC037654.
