Join Notts Outdoors at Bestwood Environmental Education Centre, as we travel back in time to 1939 to learn about life during World War Two. We will tap into the rich wartime history of Bestwood Country Park to discover what it is like to be evacuated far away from home. Following this, we will try to find a spy, attempt to diffuse a bomb, identify planes and learn about different types of bomb shelters.
Children must be accompanied by an adult, and one free adult space will be allocated to each booking.
If you need to bring an additional adult, please contact us before the sessions you have booked on to and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.
Age range- 6 – 12 years old.

You will receive pre-session information the week before the sessions begin.
Tickets are non-refundable and sales final.
In the case of adverse weather and Notts outdoors cancelling the day, a full refund will be issued.
Please note days may be cancelled at short notice if there is a weather warning or advisory from the Bestwood estate team.
