Your Home Education adventure begins with a walk to Jarl Magnus Viking settlement. There you will dress as a Norse child and learn about the clothing, jobs, houses and weapons they would use.

Jarl Magnus will regale you with stories of where the Norse came from, why they came and what they did. Oh and don't forget the many battles.

The new Norse children will also get to make their own jewellery to take home.

But keep an eye out for the horrid, smelly Anglo-Saxons.

20 spaces. Suitable for ages 6 and upwards. Children under 6 cannot attend.

One adult place FREE per booking. This space will be allocated automatically. 

£7.50 per child space.

Please bring your own lunches and refreshments.

Start time 10am at Perlethorpe Environmental Education Centre, NG22 9EQ. End time 2.30pm

Parking is available at the education centre and our Notts Outdoors Tutor will be there to welcome you.

Please bring suitable clothing for the day and be prepared for wet weather. Waterproof footwear and flat shoes are advised due to the nature of the site.
