Home Education Sustainability Day 6th February 2026

Join Notts Outdoors at Bestwood Environmental Education Centre for a day learning about sustainability. Take part in an orienteering exercise to discover how far food has tor travel to reach your plate, learn about different types of renewable energy and have a go at constructing a wind turbine.  

Children must be accompanied by an adult, and one free adult space will be allocated to each booking.

If you need to bring an additional adult, please contact us before the sessions you have booked on to and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.

Age range-  7 – 12 years old.

Arrivals from 9.50am.

You will receive pre-session information the week before the sessions begin.

Tickets are non-refundable and sales final. 

In the case of adverse weather and Notts outdoors cancelling the day, a full refund will be issued.

Please note days may be cancelled at short notice if there is a weather warning or advisory from the Bestwood estate team.
