Test your skill and aim on our medieval soft archery course and learn about the traditional English Long bow. Explore the different types of arrow heads and make your own clay arrowhead necklace. Discover the life of a medieval arrow retriever and how they survived in battle.
In the afternoon you will head into our den build for an Outlaw challenge of surviving in the Forest and decide if life in Medieval times was for you!
15 spaces.
Age 6 Years upwards. This day is not suitable for ages younger than 6 years due to the archery equipment used.
One adult place will be allocated FREE per booking. If you require an additional adult for care or medical reasons, please contact us. Extra places are subject to availability.
£7.20 per child space.
Tea, coffee and Juice provided. Please bring your own Lunches.
Start time 10.30am at St Johns Hut, Sherwood Forest, Edwinstowe, NG21 9RN. End time 2.15pm.
Parking is available adjacent to St Johns Hut and our Notts Outdoors Tutor will be there to welcome you. PLEASE do not arrive before 10.15am as the barrier will still be closed.
Please bring suitable clothing for the Day and be prepared for wet weather. Waterproof footwear and flat soles are advised due to the nature of the site. Adults will be required to assist their children with the den building session.
Tickets are non-refundable unless cancelled 14 days before the event and your ticket is re-sold.
