Home Education Sherwood Forest Outlaw Day 2024
Join Lady Marian on an exciting adventure back to the days of old, when outlaws lived in the forest and the stories of Robin Hood offered hope to all. Learn about Medieval life and visit Robin Hoods famous tree, handle artefacts and learn about what life was really like back in Medieval England. After lunch take part in a medieval weapons talk and “Who am I?†medieval life activity where children explore clothing and artefacts to try and decide who the items belong to…Knight, Peasant, King or tradesman?

Ages 6 years upwards.
20 Spaces
One FREE adult per booking will be allocated. You do not need to book an adult ticket. PLEASE NOTE if you require a second adult to attend for care or medical reasons, please let us know. Second places will be subject to availability.
£8.50 per child space.
Please bring your own lunches and refreshments.
Start time 10.30am at St Johns Hut, Sherwood Forest, Edwinstowe, NG21 9RN. End time 2.30pm.
Parking is available adjacent to St Johns Hut and our Notts Outdoors Tutor will be there to welcome you. PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 10.15AM as the car park barrier will still be locked.
Please bring suitable clothing for the Day and be prepared for wet weather. Waterproof footwear and flat soles are advised due to the nature of the site.

Tickets are Non-Refundable.
Please note we have a minimum attendance for this day. If places are not at minimum attendance number, this day may be cancelled. In the event of Notts Outdoors cancelling, a full refund will be given.
In the event of adverse weather or weather advisories issued by the Met office, Notts Outdoors reserves the right to cancel this event at short notice.
No dogs allowed on our Home Education days. Apologies for any disappointment this may cause.
