Home Education Minibeast Adventure and Comparing Habitats

Explore a whole new world at Sherwood Forest and join us on a Minibeast adventure. We will look at woodland habitats, identify minibeasts and learn about classifying animals and why they choose to live in different habitats.

After lunch we will head back out to compare a grass land Habitat. We will also have time to create some mini beast natural art using woodland materials, sculpt with clay and make our own food chains.

One FREE adult per booking will be allocated. You do not need to book an adult ticket. PLEASE NOTE if you require a second adult to attend for care or medical reasons, please let us know. Second places will be subject to availability.

Start time 10.30am at St Johns Hut, Sherwood Forest, Edwinstowe, NG21 9RN. End time 2.30pm.

Parking is available adjacent to St Johns Hut and our Notts Outdoors Tutor will be there to welcome you. PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 10.15AM as the car park barrier will still be locked.

Please bring suitable clothing for the Day and be prepared for wet weather. Waterproof footwear and flat soles are advised due to the nature of the site.

Tickets are Non-Refundable.

Please note we have a minimum attendance for this day. If places are not at minimum attendance number, this day may be cancelled. In the event of Notts Outdoors cancelling, a full refund will be given.

In the event of adverse weather or weather advisories issued by the Met office, Notts Outdoors reserves the right to cancel this event at short notice.

No dogs allowed on our Home Education days unless they are Guide or Assistance dogs. Apologies for any disappointment this may cause.
