Home Education Archery and Heraldry day

Join Lady Marian at Sherwood Forest for an exciting home education day full of the spirit of Robin hood. In the morning you will test your skill and aim on our medieval archery range, learning about life as arrow retrievers, medieval arrows, and the strength of the English long bow. This session is ideal for new and returning home education families, as if you have been before, it will be a great way to further practice your archery skills.

After Lunch, you will discover the secrets of Heraldry and create your own shield. Explore the symbols used in heraldry and discover the meaning behind your family name.

Finish time: 2pm

*Location: St Johns Hut, Forest corner, Edwinstowe, NG21 9RN.

*Parking: In the small car park adjacent to St Johns Hut.

*Please note although we love dogs, we kindly ask that none are brought to the Home Education day.

*Juice, tea and coffee are provided but please bring your own lunches.

*Please note that this day may be cancelled at short notice if adverse weather is forecast. In the event of Notts Outdoors cancelling the day a full refund will be given.
