Home Education Winter Survival Day at Sherwood Forest 2023

Join us at Sherwood Forest for a WINTER SURVIVAL themed day where you will learn about animals and how they survive the cold winter months. Learn about migration and hibernation and understand how animals adapt to survive in their habitats.

The children will be introduced to Doug the Dormouse and their challenge of keeping him warm throughout the winter

Each group then sets up their own dormouse nest and scientific investigation

Selection of activities will begin whilst checking the scientific investigation at certain intervals.
