Home Education - Stone Age 2025
Join us at Bestwood Environmental Education Centre for an exciting day focussed on the Stone age. Attendees will travel back in time to learn in a fun and engaging way, recognising changes in Britain from the present day back to the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages.
They will learn what early humans needed to survive, build shelters and find out what they ate back in prehistoric Britain. Other activities will include building Stone-henge and discussing worshipping the Sun, getting creative and telling your latest hunting story using cave painting and making your own clay pot to take home. Additionally, can you make a pen to keep your animals in and use tools to make a piece of jewellery?
