• Families will be greeted by Queen Boudicca who will provide them with health & safety information.
• Introduction to the Celts and the timeline of the Roman Invasion of Britain.
• Demonstration of the armour worn by Roman Centurions and Legionaries.
• Weapons training in the nature garden as the soldiers prepare to battle Boudica.
• Can the soldiers make the testudo formation? 
• Other activities as time allows.

• 10am - 2.30pm Lunch will be 12.00 - 12.30pm.
• You will be sent further information about the day a few days before the session. 
  
  Please bring your own packed lunch or there is a Cafe on site which is located next to the conference room.
  Your meeting point for the day is the conference room at the back of the visitors' centre.

Please note the Minimum age 6 yrs old. You will be allocated ONE adult space per booking. Please do not bring any additional adults unless prior arranged with the Notts Outdoors team and these spaces will only be allocated for medical or SEN needs. 

We allow assiatance dogs or guide dogs on the day but sadly no family pets.

*Please note tickets are non-refundable. Should we need to cancel the day due to bad weather, we will notify you as soon as possible and a refund in this case will be given.
