Home Education Evacuee's WW2 Day Brackenhurst 2nd October 2023

Join Notts Outdoors Home Education as we take you back in time to 1940, as you discover what life was like as an evacuee. You will learn about the history of WW2, who took part and why we joined and what happened.

 

You will get to handle artefacts and be taken into our very own Anderson shelter and learn about life living during the Blitz.

 

This day is run at our Brackenhurst Base

Brackenhurst Equestrian Center,

Southwell,

Notts,

NG25 0QQ.

 

10am - 2.30pm. No arrivals before 9.45am please. Please check your inbox for parking directions which will be sent prior to the day.

 

Parking is available at the equine unit. Attendees MUST inform us if they need a parking space.

 

15 SPACES with one adult space allocated per booking. If an additional adult is required, please note that this is not always possible and must be prior arranged and confirmed  before the day.

 

Age 7 Years up. This day is NOT suitable for younger siblings due to the content, location and the access to the Anderson shelter.

 

Please be aware if you have allergies to horses, this day will not be suitable due to the location being a working equine unit.
