Archery Adventures with Robin and Marian

This summer, join Robin Hood and Lady Marian for an archery adventure in the heart of Sherwood Forest. This is a new and exciting family activity where you can learn all about medieval archery and receive private tuition from this legendary couple.

Imagine arriving at your very own secure, medieval archery range and receiving expert tuition which will set you on the path to becoming a medieval archer! 

Your session includes:

  • A private 1-hour time slot at our Outlaw medieval archery range.
  • Tuition using an assortment of bows, leading up to the English long bow.
  • Unique photo opportunities with Robin and Marian.
  • Learn the secrets of this age-old sport.
  • Outlaw Scroll for participants under the age of 13 years.
  • A small free gift for participants under the age of 13 years.

Session costs

Family ticket £50 which includes 2 Adults and 2 Children, if you would like to book any additional children, please email perlethorpe@nottscc.gov.uk (max participants 6)

A session guide will be sent to you with full details of your booking.

Booking Details

Advisory for age 6 years upwards. 

  • Our tuition is designed for beginners and individuals who may have tried archery before.
  • This activity is not designed for experienced archers.
  • Children under the age of 6 are welcome to attend as spectators, providing they have an adult to supervise them.
  • Any child or adult not taking part in the tuition, will not be charged but will be allowed to view the session.
  • Total group size including participants and spectators is 8.

 10% of sales will be donated to the RSPB
