Put down the Sat Nav and put your map reading skills to the test! Join Notts Outdoors at Bestwood Environmental Education Centre for an exciting day enjoying and exploring the great outdoors! We’ll start the day by building base camp! We’ll work as a team to build strong, sturdy, waterproof shelters for us to rest in! Next we’ll start building our orienteering skills by exploring compass directions, maps and navigating. We’ll bring all our skills together to complete a large orienteering course in the park. Will you find all the checkpoints? Children must be accompanied by an adult, and one free adult space will be allocated to each booking. If you need to bring an additional adult, please contact us before the sessions you have booked on to and we will do our best to accommodate your requests. Age range- 7 – 12 years old. Address for the sessions is: Bestwood Environmental Education Centre, Winding Wheel House Car Park, Park Road, Bestwood Village, NG6 8ZA Arrivals from 10.00am End at 14.30pm. You will receive pre-session information the week before the sessions begin. Tickets are non-refundable and sales final. In the case of adverse weather and Notts outdoors cancelling the day, a full refund will be issued. Please note days may be cancelled at short notice if there is a weather warning or advisory from the Bestwood estate team.
